:
Step One: Is God Calling You Here?
First, it is important for you to know that God has called you to this church. Chances are real good that if you are reading this section, a desire has been placed in your heart by the Lord to become a part of this local church. Come visit and worship with us on Sunday to find out. Once you have made that determination, you are ready for step two.
Step Two: Membership
I Corinthians
1:10 (
New King James)
says,
"Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment".
It is very important to know what a church believes before making a commitment to become a member, so that you can be in agreement them. We have a Membership Class for all who are investigating the possibility of becoming a member. This class informs attendees about our vision, our tenants of faith, our ordinances, and gives helpful information to assure your success as a Christian.
Step Three: Ministry of Helps
Mark
9:35
says,
“If any man desire to be first, the same shall be…the servant of all”.
God has entrusted His work to His children. It is important that everyone in the local church gets involved in doing some work of service for the Lord. This is called the Ministry of Helps.

Church
has many areas of ministry that would not be possible without the faithful commitment of our members. To be involved in an area of ministry, attending the Ministry of Helps Class is required. This class explains the ministry of helps and prepares you for service. At the end of the class, current ministry opportunities and requirements are presented.
Some of the ministry opportunities include: equipment transportation, sound technicians, children’s education, youth, ushers/greeters, hospitality, bookstore, media and prayer.
Serving with others is one of the best ways to get to know people and build valuable relationships.
